Come and visit York for the 2016 York Food and Drink Festival.
Discover, sample, shop, eat, drink, learn, listen to live music and generally have a fantastic time!
Following the recent flooding in the UK which affected some parts of York, we are pleased to let you know that the whole of the city centre, all shopping streets and restaurants, cafés and bars are all open. Most of the attractions are open as well, with the exception of Jorvik and The York Dungeon.
The 32nd Jorvik Viking Festival takes place this year from 15 to 21 February. Recognised as the largest event of its kind in Europe, this is a city-wide celebration of York’s rich Viking heritage. Look out for an exciting programme of events including living history encampments, talks and of course dramatic combat performances! More info at www.jorvik-viking-festival.co.uk
