Things may be a little different, so it’s worth making sure you have the most up-to-date information on the things you’d like to see and do before you set out.
While there’s lots to see and do, and plenty of Christmas shopping to be done, we encourage all those visiting the city centre to adhere to government guidance, and practise “Hands, Face, Space”, to make the city as safe a place as possible for everyone.
Green Spaces in York
While of course we must remain home as much as we can, it’s still important we stretch our legs and enjoy some fresh air. The beautiful Museum Gardens, Dean’s Park and Rowntree Park are all open for just this purpose. Or simply get your steps in whilst strolling along your favourite section of the City Walls.
Takeaway and Delivery
Many of the city’s brilliant food and drink businesses continue to bring treats straight to your doorstep, or are offering takeaway. From Betty’s cakes to Fancy Hank’s burgers, have a look at our dedicated page to see what’s on offer.
