York Stay is adopting the new Enhanced Cleaning Initiative as set out by Airbnb. More information will be available soon. Cleaning will be carried out by a professional cleaning company to very high recommended standards. Following Government guidelines there will need to be 24hrs between each stay, so please bear with us regarding dates to enable this pause to happen. We will also leave cleaning materials and disinfectants in the apartments for you to use.
Deposits and Cancellation Policy
- We ask for a non-refundable deposit of 30% payable 4 weeks in advance of your stay. Bookings are provisional until this deposit is paid.
- If you book to stay less than 4 weeks in advance of your trip, the full amount is due.
- If you cancel 14 days or less in advance of your trip, the total amount is non-refundable.
If you need to postpone your trip, we would aim to accommodate you at a future date subject to availability. There will be a 10% administration charge of the full amount for this alteration.
If the Government implemented travel restrictions, then refunds are at our discretion.
We strongly recommend you take out cancellation insurance to protect yourselves. We can supply you with any necessary paperwork for proof of booking.
Although we really enjoy meeting our guests, in these uncertain times we think the safest option would be to use our self-check-in system. For Cloisters Walk it’s via a key safe on the wall outside the building and at Feversham House, we have either a smart lock which you can operate via your mobile phone or a key safe. We will send you instructions at the time of booking.
Eating In York
Many restaurants in the City have now opened for take-away or delivery services. We are in the process of compiling a list to share with our guests. We also have a fully equipped modern kitchen at both apartments with everything you need whilst away from home and there is a good sized Sainsbury’s on the doorstep.
